The following parameters are defined for each COFDM frequency:
COFDM - Tuning setup - Edit:
Name:
A name should be assigned to each frequency channel
Frequency:
The COFDM centre frequency in MHz. Note that the center
frequency of COFDM transmissions is sometimes changed by
an offset of +/- 167kHz in order to avoid interference with
neighbouring analogue channels. In this case this frequency
setting should be adjusted accordingly.
Channel spacing:
The channel spacing in MHz
Spectrum
inversion:
Spectrum inversion may be normal or inverted
Guard interval:
The guard interval may be Auto, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 or 1/4
Transmission
mode:
The transmission mode may be set to Auto, 2k or 8k
ETR thresholds:
Selection of the ETR threshold template that should be
assigned to the current frequency
PID thresholds:
Selection of the PID threshold template that should be
assigned to the current frequency
Service
thresholds:
Selection of the Service threshold template that should be
assigned to the current frequency
COFDM
thresholds:
Selection of the COFDM threshold template that should be
assigned to the current frequency
VBC thresholds:
Selection of the VBC threshold template that should be
assigned to the current frequency
Disable tuning:
If this box is checked the transport stream associated with
the current frequency will not be monitored
It is also possible to add new frequencies manually by copying existing tuning list
entries using the
Duplicate highlighted
button.
Multi-edit functionality makes it possible to edit several threshold templates
simultaneously. Highlight the tuning list entries that should be edited and click the
Edit selected
button.
Note that all tunings will automatically be ETR 290 analysed, and hence be part of the
round-robin loop unless the 'Disable tuning' box is checked.
