Lower Hand Grip
27. Safely remove both of the Lower Hand Grips and their Snap Hooks from
the machine.
28. Attach a piece of wire or rope to the end of each Lower Rope that is at
least 3 feet in length. This wire will be used to route the Lower Ropes back
through the Platform Frames. Tie off the other end of the wire or rope to the
Support Arm.
29. Slowly pull out enough of the Right Lower Rope to be able to remove the
Securing Ball from it.
The Rope will be under tension and will want to pull itself into the
Right Platform Frame. Be sure not to allow any fingers or hands
to be pinched.
Note:
Photos are only to assist with removing the Securing Ball. To remove
the Securing Ball: Slide the Securing Ball up the rope, remove the Center
Stopper from the rope, and slide the Securing Ball off the rope.
30. Remove the Securing Ball and gently lower the rope into the Platform
Frame, releasing it with enough space to not pinch any fingers or hands.
31. From the back of the machine, pull the Right Lower Rope from the Right
Platform Frame. Only pull the Lower Rope until it is fully removed from the
Platform Frame. Be sure not to pull the end of the attached wire or rope into
the Platform Frame.
32. Disconnect the added Routing Wire or Rope from the Right Lower Rope.
This will be used to route the rope from the new Frame Assembly though the
Platform Frame.
