Placing the Implanted Stimulator into CP Mode (Pairing Mode) (Vercise Genus Stimulators Only)
1. Use the patient’s Remote Control to enter the Stimulator into CP Mode (Pairing Mode). The Remote Control and Stimulator must be
linked in order to place the Stimulator into CP Mode (Pairing Mode).

Lock
screen, press and hold the button until the screen displays “Stimulator Ready for CP Connection” (Figure 1 and
Figure 1.

Clinician Menu
on the patient Remote Control and select
CP Mode: Stimulator

Note:
If the Stimulator does not have a linked Remote Control, refer to the appropriate Remote Control manual as listed in your
DBS Reference Guide for instructions on Stimulator Linking.
Note:
If the linked Remote Control is not available, see the “Magnet Pairing” section of this manual.
Note:
The Stimulator will automatically exit CP Mode (Pairing Mode) after two minutes if a CP connection is not established.
