Replacing a Controller Canister in the Controller-Drive Tray | en

Bosch Security Systems

Installation Manual

- | V2 | 2012.09

Did the Recovery Guru direct you to replace a failed controller canister?

–

Yes

Go to step 3.

–

Run the Recovery Guru to identify the failed component, and go to step 3.

Put on antistatic protection.

Unpack the new controller canister.

–

Set the new controller canister on a flat, static-free surface near the controller-drive

tray with the top cover up.

–

Save all of the packing materials so that you can ship the failed controller canister.

–

Push down the two top cover latch buttons that secure the top cover to the new

controller canister.

–

Remove the top cover by sliding it off the rear of the new controller canister.
