Mn Speaker Control: (1)
This command specifies when the speaker is turned on and off.
n = 0 Speaker always off
n = 1 Speaker on until carrier present *
n = 2 Speaker always on
n = 3 Speaker off during dialing, and on until carrier detect
Nn Select Data Rate Handshake: (1)
This command specifies whether the resulting modem-to-modem data
rate can be different than the local DTE-to-modem data rate.
n = 0 When originating or answering, handshake only at the DTE-to-
modem data rate.
n = 1 When originating or answering, begin handshaking at the
DTE-to-modem data rate. If the remote modem does not
support the local DTE-to-modem data rate, fall down to the
highest compatible data rate.*
On Go On-line: (0)
This command causes the modem to return back to On-line Data Mode
from On-line Command Mode.
n = 0 Returns the modem to Data Mode.*
n = 1 Begins an equalizer retrain sequence, then returns to Data
Mode. This parameter is only valid for 2400-bps connections.
P Select Pulse Dialing: (none)
This command configures the modem to use pulse dialing next time the
modem dials a telephone number.
