S90 Disconnect Inactivity Timer: (0)
This S-register sets the length of time, in minutes, that the modem will
stay on-line/off-hook before disconnecting when no data is transmitted or
received. In data and fax modes, any data transmitted or received
between the DTE-DCE interface will reset the timer. In all other modes
except Telephone-emulation mode, any data transmitted will reset the
timer. In Telephone-emulation mode, S90 is ignored (i.e., the modem will
not automatically hangup the line after a given time delay).
Range: n = 0-255 minutes
n = 0 Disabled
S108 Retrain Signal Quality Selector: (1)
This S-register selects when the modem should perform a retrain.
Range: n = 0-3
n = 0 Never retrain
n = 1 Low Quality - retrain after a large number of data
errors
n = 2 Medium Quality - retrain after a number of data errors
n = 3 High Quality - retrain after a few data errors
Default: V.32 n = 1 V.32bis n = 2
S109 Line Speeds Permitted: (62)
This bit mapped S-register selects all permitted line speeds. If
the speed bit is set to a ‘1’, then the modern is permitted to connect at
the specified speed. If the speed bit is set to a ‘0’, then the modem will
never connect at the specified speed.
