5.2 Tools and equipment required
You will need the following tools and equipment to carry out the maintenance operations described in
the following sections:
• Lifting equipment (hoist or crane)
• Set of metric spanners
• Screwdriver
• Adjustable wrench
• Paraffin based cleaning solution
• Abrasive pads
• Lint free wipes
• Torque wrench with 13 mm socket (for EO2K and EO4K pumps) or

inch socket (for EO6K
pumps)
5.3 Maintenance plan
The plan shown in Table 14 below lists the maintenance operations necessary to maintain the EO pump
in normal use. Instructions for each operation are given in the section shown.
More frequent maintenance may be required if the EO pump has been used to process corrosive or
abrasive gases and vapours. If necessary, adjust the maintenance plan according to your experience.
