3. Unfasten the 8 screws and remove the chassis.

Note:

Remember to insert the power button extender when assembling the scanner again.

Remove Battery Assembly

Initial tasks in chronical order:

Remove the Left Chassis

Procedure:

1. Check all the fan wires are labelled with the fan number. If a label is missing add a new

label.

2. Disconnect the six fan wires from the callisto main board. Labels on the wires indicate

the fan number.

Caution:

Remember to insert the wires in the order as shown above when assembling the scanner. Fan
numbers and locations are listed in Table 6-3.
