Erasing a recording/title
You can add to or erase contents from any unfinalized suitable recordable DVD. Once erased
however, those programs cannot be recovered and reused again.
You can erase individual recordings from a disc as shown below:
1. While playing a suitable unprotected and
unfinalized recordable DVD+RW type disc, press
the
Play list/menu
button on the remote
control to display the disc content menu.
2. Press the
Up
or
Down
button to
select the title you wish to erase.
3. Press the
Edit
button to display the ’Edit’ menu
on-screen.
Press the
Up
or
Down
button to
highlight ’
Erase Title
’, and the press the
OK
button to confirm.
Can titles be erased from a DVD+R disc?
Titles on DVD+R discs are only marked as erased.
While playing a disc, the ’erased’ title will be skipped.
The space used for a title cannot be used again as the
disc format does not support files being re-written over.
You must use DVD+RW type discs if you wish to
rewrite over previously recorded files.
