Initializing the DVD Recorder

Manually searching for TV channels

You can make the DVD Recorder reset and replace its previously stored channel data with new
channel data by running the channel scan command.

CAUTION

This will erase all previously stored channel settings.

1. Press the

Setup

button on the remote control to

launch the ’Setup’ menu.

2. Press the

Down

button to

select the

Video Setup

icon.

3. Press the

Right

button, and then press the

Down

button to select ’

Channel

Scan

’.

4. Press the

Right

button to highlight ’

Start

’, and

then press the

button to begin channel

searching. The DVD Recorder will store all

channels that it finds. This may take several

minutes.

5. Press the

Setup

button to close the menu.
