How to insert chapter markers during playback:
1. While playing a suitable unprotected and
unfinalized recordable DVD+RW type disc, go to
the scene where you wish to insert a chapter
marker.
2. Press the
Edit
button on the remote control to
open the ’Edit’ menu.
3. With the highlight on the ’
Insert Chapter
’ item,
press the
OK
button to insert a chapter
marker.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to add another chapter marker.
5. When you’ve finished inserting your chapter
bookmarks, press the
Edit
button to close the
menu.
Notes:
If a ’ ’ displays on-screen, the disc is write-protected
or has been finalized. Further changes cannot be made.
Once a disc has been edited, the disc edits must be
finalized before they become available for play in a
normal DVD player. See "Finalizing edits" on page 86.
