OIL FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Fitting:
Proceed using the opposite order to removal.
Tighten the assembly screws (10) to the following torque:
T.R.
Torque 12 N*m
Tighten the pump gear assembly screw (21) to the following
torque:
T.R.
Torque 7 N*m

Removal:
NOTE
Before removing the oil fi lter, it is necessary to remove the oil
from the engine.
1. Place a collection container under the engine Fig. A.
2. Use the specifi c tool (**) to turn the oil fi lter (2) and remove
it.

Fitting:
NOTE
Before fi tting a new oil fi lter, apply a fi ne layer of engine oil to the
contact surfaces of the fi lter to lubricate it.
1. Proceed using the opposite order to removal.
Tighten the fi lter (2) to the following torque:
T.R.
Torque 22 N*m
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Always use original Benelli oil fi lters.
Other brands of oil fi lter can be different in terms of thread (dia-
meter and pitch).
The use of other types of fi lter may affect the fi lter performance
and duration, which will cause possible damage to the engine or
oil leaks.
NOTE
Add engine oil once these steps have been completed.
