6.5.1 SIEMENS IO-Link library

The SIEMENS

STEP 7

"IO_LINK_CALL" function module can both acyclically

write device parameters of an IO-link device and read parameters,

measured values and diagnostic data. In a revised version of this library,

"IO_LINK_CALL" has been replaced by the "IO_LINK_DEVICE" module for

acyclic communication with IO-link devices.
