Inspection of Output Voltage
Caution
Make sure not to short-circuit the battery
terminals.
Follow the steps below to connect the
battery and voltmeter.
Connect the battery (+) to the connecter
terminal (brown/+), and the battery (-) to
the connector terminal (blue/-).
Connect the voltmeter (+) to the
connecter terminal (black/output) and the
voltmeter (-) to the connector terminal
(blue/-).

It is normal if the voltage between the
connector terminals 2 and 3 is 0 V when the
object to be detected is away from the
proximity sensor, and the voltage between
the connector terminals 2 and 3 is battery
voltage (12 V) when the object is close to
the proximity sensor.
