1. DESCRIPTION

The RT parking brake assembly is a ball and ramp, sliding caliper brake designed for use

primarily as a parking brake, with some secondary braking capability. The brake has an

open caliper design to facilitate changing linings, along with a retraction spring to reduce

parasitic drag. It is sealed from the environment to provide a long and trouble free service

life.
