Assist Valve
Adjustment of Assist Valve
Caution
The following adjustment procedure applies to
assist valves that are in their factory default
state.
Before starting the adjustment, perform the
following operations.
Park the machine on a level, paved
surface.
Set the rotary knife rotation switch
(ROTATION) to the "OFF" position and
lower all mower units completely.
Apply the parking brake, stop the engine,
and then remove the key.
Set the traction assist switch to the "ON"
position.

Lift the seat, and then remove the screw
cap (female) of the pressure measurement
port.

Install the pressure gauge for low pressure
measurements onto the O-ring connector of
the pressure measurement port.

Important
Run the machine for approximately ten
minutes to stabilize the hydraulic oil
temperature.
Start the engine, and rev it up to the
maximum rpm.
Set the rotary knife rotation switch
(ROTATION) to the "OFF" position, and
then apply the parking brake.
