(8)  Replacing the Gun Harness 2

  To avoid electric shock, accidents or injuries to yourself or other people, or damage to the 

electronic circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting work.

  Turn off the power switch of the machine. (See “8A-8-1 Turning the Power Switch On” on page 95.)
  Remove the gun assembly. (See “8B-4-3(1) Removing and Installing the Gun Assembly” on page 121.)
  Remove the gun base box. (See steps 

 to 

 of “8B-4-3 (2) Replacing the Variable Registor (for 

Right/Left)” on page 122.)

  Remove the gun cover. (See steps 

 and 

 of “8B-4-3 (3) Replacing the Variable Registor (for 

Up/Down)” on page 125.)

  Remove the four Phillips pan head screws (with flat and spring washers) (M4 x 12), disconnect the 

ground terminal, and remove the switch base.

  Disconnect the four connectors and open the three cord clips of the gun harness 2.

  Remove the Phillips pan head screw (with flat and spring washers) (M4 x 12), and open the cord clip.

When securing the harness again, secure the cord 

clip in the position shown in the figure.
