Engine Oil
Check the engine oil level each week, . If it is
below the lower limit mark, then you need to
promptly park the vehicle on flat ground. When
the engine is in a cold state, it is the ideal time
for checking the engine oil level. If the engine is
running or has already warmed up, then please
turn off the engine and wait for at least5 minutes
before checking the engine oil level.
Engine Oil Pressure Alarming
The engine oil pressure warning light is located
on the display screen of the information center.
When the ignition key is in the ON position (the
engine has not been started), the vehicle will
perform self-checking and the engine oil
pressure warning light will be lit. After the
engine has started, the warning light will go out.
If the warning light flashes while
driving, be sure to immediately turn off the
engine and check the engine oil level. When
necessary, add engine oil.
If the engine oil level is normal but the warning
light still flashes, be sure NOT to continue
driving, even running at idle speed. Should
contact the authorized BAIC dealership as soon
as possible to have the system checked and
repaired.
Warning
Ignoring the warning light or the relevant
warning instructions may cause serious
accidents.
Checking Engine Oil Level
If the warning light on the display screen of the
information center is on, Please immediately
check the engine oil level and add engine oil as
needed.
Using a dipstick to check the engine oil level.

Lacking of engine oil may damage the
engine;
●
Excess engine oil may damage the catalyst.
Warning
If need to check engine oil level when the
engine in hot condition, please turn off the
engine and wait for at least5 minutes until all
the engine oil flow back to oil pan.
If it is in a cold state, engine oil level can be
checked directly.
