Adding Coolant
Only new coolant can be added.
After filling, the coolant level must be located
between
“
MIN
”
line and
“
MAX
”
line
。
Caution
The level must not be above the “MAX”
marker line

Tank Cover
Mount and tighten the expansion tank cover.
Tips
When the engine is in a hot state, the coolant
level may be slightly higher than the upper
limit mark.
Caution
It is suggested that coolant should be
added when the engine is in the cold state,
but
the coolant level must not exceed the upper
limit mark. Otherwise, when the engine
reaches a hot state, the excessive coolant will
overflow.
Only new coolant can be added. The
coolant must comply with the provisions of
this
Manual. If no suitable coolant can be bought,
do NOT add another type of coolant. If
necessary, pure water may be temporarily
added.
However, coolant must be added as soon as
possible in accordance with the provisions.
If too much coolant has been consumed,
then be sure to add cold coolant after the
engine
has cooled down. Otherwise, it may damage
the
engine. If a lot of coolant is consumed, it
indicates that the cooling system has a leak.
At this time, you should go to an authorized
BAIC
dealership to have the cooling system
checked to prevent it from damaging the
engine.
