Safety Instructions of work at
Engine Compartment
When working on the engine or the engine
compartment, such as checking or adding
engine fluids, scalding or other injuries may
occur. There is also a risk of accident and fire!
Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the
following warning instructions and basic safety
rules.
When adding the engine fluids, do not mix the
working fluids. Otherwise, serious functional
faults will be caused.
Warning

If any observable steam or coolant
overflowing from the engine compartment,
be sure to NOT open the engine hood.
Otherwise, there is a danger of scalding! The
engine hood can only be opened when no
steam or coolant overflows and the engine
has cooled down.
●
Do NOT make any work fluid onto the hot
engine or exhaust device. Otherwise, there is
a danger of fire!
●
Do NOT touch the cooling fan. Since the
cooling fan is temperature-controlled, it can
start work even when vehicle is power off.
●
For safety, the engine hood must be tightly
locked while driving. Therefore, after the
engine hood is closed, it is necessary to check
whether the locking device has been engaged.
The engine hood should be aligned with the
around parts if the engine hood been well
locked.
