Seat Belt Retractor Recycling and
Disposal
The seat belt retractor is part of the seat belt
system. All operations on the seat belt retractor
or the removal of the seat belt retractor, as
required for the repair of other vehicle parts,
must be carried out by an authorized BAIC
dealership. Otherwise, damage may be caused
to the seat belt, and the seat belt retractor may
not work normally during an accident.
To prevent personal injury or environmental
pollution, all dismantled seat belt retractors
must be disposed of in accordance with the
relevant laws and regulations. Authorized BAIC
dealerships which are familiar with the relevant
safety regulations may provide you with an
enquiry service.
Warning
Failure to get seat belt retractors renewed
and checked by a BAIC authorized repair
shop or professional personnel, or failure to
correctly use the seat belt retractors in
accordance with these provisions is bound to
increase the risk of accident injuries.

Unauthorized repair, removal or
installation of seat belts or seat belt retractor
components is prohibited.

All operations on the seat belt retractors
and seat belts, including those to remove
system components to allow the repair of
other vehicle parts must be carried out by an
authorized BAIC dealership.

Each seat belt retractor can only be
triggered once. All triggered seat belt
retractors must be replaced.
