Application of Disassembly

Removal of Thread take-up lever link, Presser bar and Presser bar clamp assy

1. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M3x5) from the shaft. Remove the retaining ring E4 from the

shaft, and then pull out the shaft to remove the thread take-up lever link and spring (XC2441).

2. Remove the screw (set screw, socket (CP) M5x10) from the presser bar clamp assy, and then pull out

the presser bar to remove the presser bar clamp assy and spring (XC7810). Remove the retaining ring

E5 from the presser bar.

3. Remove the presser foot rack.
