used in surgical ultrasound applications.

Before using this Pro Package, you should be familiar with the information in
previous chapters, particularly Chapter 4, “Working with the Image”.

Abbreviations used in measurements and calculations are defined in the Glossary,
starting on page 315.

The information in this chapter may not correspond to the Pro Package on your
scanner because Pro Packages can be customized. (See Chapter 13, “Setting Up and
Customizing Your System”.)

Palm Control Unit

If you are using this Pro Package with the optional Palm Control Unit, see “Using the
PCU (Palm Control Unit)” on page 45 and “Palm Control Unit (PCU)” on page 70
for details of how to use the PCU.

Surgical Rack

If you using this Pro Package with the Rack Docking System™, see “Connecting to
a Surgical Rack” on page 326 for details of how to connect your Pro Focus scanner
to the surgical rack.
