The Rack Docking System consists of the following parts:

The docking cable connects the scanner to the docking box, which is mounted on the
surgical rack.

Caution: When the docking cable is not connected to the docking box, the “blind
connector” must be firmly in place on the docking box. Otherwise the surgical rack will
not operate correctly when the scanner is not attached. See page 329 for instructions
about attaching the “blind connector.”

WARNING When you connect other equipment to the scanner, thus creating a
medical system, always follow the guidelines given in EN60601-1-1 [1]. If in doubt,
contact your local B-K Medical representative.
