CPU BOOSTER
The 810DT+ comes with a
CPU booster and it will allow you to install 133MHz
FSB Pentium III processor on the socket 370 to increase the system performance.
Why CPU Booster?
Over clock is popular to many users. Unfortunately, over clock the CPU may cause
serious damage to the CPU and mainboard. However, the CPU booster will increase
the system performance by changing the memory architecture to PC-133 and you do
not have to worry about the potential damage.
When CPU booster is installed on the mainboard. CPU and the memory subsystem
are both running at 133MHz and the system performance will be increased instantly.
When CPU booster is installed, it will provide the following features:
1.
810 mainboard will be able to support 133MHz FSB Pentium III processors.
2.
The memory architecture will be changed from PC-100 to PC-133.
INSTALLATION OF CPU BOOSTER
When the CPU booster installed onto the slot 1 connector, it will fine-tune the
mainboard coupling interface so that you can use 133MHz FSB CPU. Please refer to
the following picture for the outlook of the CPU booster
.
In order to make the
CPU booster
working normally, please refer to the following
notice when use
CPU booster
to increase the performance:
1.
The Slot 1 connector supports only 66/100MHz FSB CPUs.
2.
When CPU booster is not installed on the mainboard, you can install either 66MHz
or 100MHz FSB CPU onto the Socket 370.
3.
When CPU booster is installed on the Slot 1, you can install 133MHz FSB CPU on
to the Socket 370 connector,
4.
Always use PC-133 DIMM module when CPU booster is installed and refer to the
following to install the DIMM module.
