UPDATE THE SYSTEM BIOS
Why BIOS update?
There are always the new CPU and devices introduced to the
market and you may have to get the system BIOS updated so that
the mainboard will work with the new device properly.
Before we start to discuss how to upgrade the system BIOS, there are sever important
issues which you may have to know before you can start to upgrade the system BIOS:
1.
Never try to interrupt the PC system during the BIOS update:
If you interrupt the BIOS updating before it is completed, then you will have an
incomplete system BIOS on your mainboard and you will be unable to use the
mainboard afterward.
2.
Make sure to get the correct system BIOS:
If you are using the wrong BIOS code to update the system BIOS, the mainboard
may not be able to work anymore unless you send the mainboard to the technical
center for technical support..
3.
Don't exchange the system BIOS with other mainboard:
If you take the system BIOS from other mainboard and put it on this mainboard, you
may find that your PC system is unstable to work..
4.
Always check the flash ROM capacity:
The flash ROM is the component where we can store the system BIOS. If you down
load the wrong BIOS code, you will be unable to upgrade the system BIOS.
