This I/O chip on the mainboard can be either the Winbond W83627F or W83627HF.
When W83627HF is installed on the board, it will support the hardware monitoring
feature and you will see the screen display shown above to indicate the system healthy
status. When the I/O chip on the mainboard is W83627F, you will not be able to see the
above screen display because it does not support the hardware monitor function. When
there is the hardware monitoring feature on the board, you can install the hardware
monitoring software included in the CD disc and you can use the hardware monitoring
feature to check the mainboard healthy status.
Beside the hardware monitoring software program, you can also use the BIOS setup
screen to check the hardware status. The table above gives you another choice to
monitor the mainboard healthy status beside the hardware monitoring software. Please
select the "PC HEALTH STATUS" and you will see the table as shown above and that
you can check on the related field and monitor the status like voltage, Temperature and
cooling fan rotation speed .. etc.
