5 Installation
3. Install the retractor system on the block flange with the 4 screws M10 x 18. It is imperative to follow
the installation instructions and torques of the block flange manufacturer NEUMO.
4. Cleaning medium supply (standard: Clamp DN25 in accordance with DIN 32676) on the media
connection (hydraulic pipe) with suitable gasket and clamp.
5.2.4
Connection of Pneumatic Actuator
When the device has been mechanically installed, the pneumatic actuator is connected as follows.
The owner must ensure that the locking cylinder is actuated and connected according to the
locking function to be guaranteed.
1. Mount the air hoses on the power and locking cylinders.
2. Mount the limit switches on the pre-assembled
mounts provided on the power and locking cylinder.
Push the limit switch sensor into the mount up to the
front egde and then secure it in the mount using the
retaining screw on the limit switch sensor.
Ensure that both limit switches are connected and
evaluated by the higher-level control (
see Section 3.2
).
The mount for the 2 “power cylinder retracted”
sensors (idle position, “closed”) is fixed by the
manufacturer. If the mount has moved out of position
despite being fixed in place at the factory, it should be
positioned within the marking (indicating by arrows)
and glued onto the cylinder pipe using Loctite “454”.
During assembly, it is essential to ensure that the
integrated function display (LED) for the limit switch
can be seen from the operator position. If necessary,
ensure this by turning the pneumatic pipe to an
appropriate position on the hydraulic pipe.

The mounts for the locking cylinder limit switches are also fixed in place by the manufacturer. If the
mounts have moved out of position despite being fixed in place at the factory, they should be positioned
within the markings (
and glued onto the cylinder pipe using Loctite “454”.
