15.1.6. AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux Configuration
If you require to change some default settings, you can do so in the configuration file.
You can open the configuration file
avgadmsrv.conf
from the following location:
/opt/avg/avgadmsrv/etc/avgadmsrv.conf
You should restart the AVG Admin Server after each change. To restart the server use
the following command:
# /etc/init.d/avgadmsrvd restart
You can find detailed configuration description in the
Configuration
chapter below.
15.1.7. Installation Verification
To test the installation try connecting to your AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux from
AVG stations or from the AVG Admin Console. Use the connection string in the
following format:
http://host[:port]
15.1.8. Installation Troubleshooting
If you experience any troubles running AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux, review the
faq
file located in the installation package. Check the log files of the server application and
also the Firebird server log file for error messages. AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux Log
files are stored in the following directory:
/opt/avg/avgadmsrv/var/log
