VLAN parameters
The following configuration parameters are used to configure VLAN functionality on the network
switch internal to the phone.

Specifies the VLAN tagging is enabled or
disabled.
Value operation:
• 0: Auto. VLAN tagging is turned on when the
network can support VLAN tagging and
L2QVLAN is non zero.
• 1: On. VLAN tagging is turned on when the
network can support VLAN tagging. The IP
phone sends tagged frames with VLAN =
L2QVLAN, even if L2QVLAN is set to 0.
• 2: Off. VLAN functionality is disabled.
L2Q is configured through:
• Local admin procedure
• A name equal to value pair in DHCPACK
message
• SET command in the
Settings
file
• DHCP option 43

VLANTEST

Specifies the number of seconds that the phone
waits prior to failing back to a different VLAN ID if
no response is received from the DHCP server.
Valid values are 0 through 999.
Value operation:
• 0: The phone continues to attempt a DHCP
REQUEST forever.
