16.1 WGET

GNU Wget is a free software package for retrieving files using HTTP, HTTPS and FTP, the most widely-used

Internet protocols. It is a non-interactive command line tool, so it may easily be called from scripts, cron jobs,

terminal without X-Windows support, etc.

16.2 NETPERSEC

NetPerSec monitors and graphs your network

bandwidth usage for all or any network

interface card. An ingenious Windows system

tray icon displays a miniature bandwidth graph.

16.3 DU METER

DU Meter provides an accurate account of the

data which is flowing through your computer

‘

network connection. This real time readout

is presented in both numerical and graphical

format.

DU Meter or NetPerSec is personal preference

both work in a similar way.
