3.10. UPPER ELECTRICAL BOX
INSIDE
Inside the upper control box is to be found the battery discharge
cut-out relay, which cuts off the electrical supply of the machine
when the battery reaches 80% discharge, and the overload
relay, which equally cuts off the electrical supply when the
maximum admissible load is exceeded. As soon as one of the
two relays is activated, the buzzer rings and the red luminous
push button lights up.
FRONT
The following functions are located on the front of the upper
control box:
If the emergency stop is
pushed in, this cuts off all
the machine controls.
Based on its position, The
speed change control will
change the machine to
rapid (
) or slow ( )
speed, or to the
negotiating a slope ( )
mode.
Whereas the
movement selector will
make an elevation and
rotation, or forward and
backward running of the
platform possible.
The push button has severa
l
functions:
- It serves as a buzzer ( ).
- It serves to reset the machine ( ), at the time of the battery discharge, so as to reach the
charging station.
The incline indicator light ( )) indicates that the machine is in unstable position.
The maximum overload indicator light ( ) indicates that the maximum admissible load has
been reached or exceeded.
The ½ overload indicator light ( ) indicates that half of the maximum admissible load has been
reached or exceeded.
The chain slack indicator light indicates ( ) that there is a problem at the time of lowering the
mobile cages.
A time meter is located on the battery discharge indicator. Display is made in tenth of an hour.
