DANGER
IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO WASH
THE MACHINE DURING RUNNING OF
THE CHARGER
.
PARTIAL ADDITIONAL CHARGE
By design, this charger adapts automatically to the situation of discharge of the batteries, and
therefore makes it possible to carry out any type of partial charge. The calculation of the
overcurrent takes into account partial additional charges. The mixing is always sufficient, without
unnecessary water consumption, which avoids premature wear of the battery (often due to too
long overcurrents) and reduces upkeep.
3.2.2 PROTECTION DURING CHARGING
TOO LONG A CHARGE
Charging stops if the initial charging time is more than 15 hours. This defect appears when a
battery cell is defective (short-circuit) or when the ambient temperature is too high. Check the state
of the battery. To start charging again, disconnect the mains, then the battery and reconnect the
battery, then the mains.
MAINS MICRO-CUT PROTECTION
In the case of a mains cut, all the charging parameters in progress are saved in memory for 13
minutes.
As soon as the mains is operative again, charging re-starts from the point reached at the moment
of the cut, while keeping in memory the number of amp/hours already injected. If the duration of
the cut is more than 13 minutes (the machine was possibly used), a complete charging cycle is
initialized.
SECURITY IN TEMPERATURE
The charger is cooled by ventilation, the air inlets and outlets of the charger must therefore not be
blocked. The fan runs as soon as the mains is connected. It stops when the charging is finished, or
when the mains is disconnected.
The charging provides reduced power if the ambient temperature exceeds the range of operating
temperature, so as to be self-protected (the charging time will therefore be extended). The charger
stops if the micro-controller detects a fault on the temperature measurement.
WARNING
DURING THE CHARGING, THE MOTOR
OF
THE
MACHINE
MUST
MANDATORILY BE SHUTDOWN.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED NOT
TO WASH THE CHARGER WITH
WATER PRESSURE EQUIPMENT. IF
WASHING IS NECESSARY, PLEASE
WAIT UNTIL THE CHARGER IS
COMPLETELY
DRY
BEFORE
SWITCHING ON AGAIN
