CENTRALIZED FILLING
The battery tray is fitted with a centralized filling
device. This system makes it possible to
simultaneously fill all the battery cells.
A can of distilled water is supplied on the delivery of
the machine.
- Make sure that the can is filled with distilled water
up to the maximum level.
- Connect the filling hose to the can.
- When the balls of the indicator stop moving, the
electrolyte level of the battery is correct.
- Disconnect the can pipe and replace this on the
top of the battery tray.
UPKEEP
It is essential to carry out an annual upkeep of the centralized filling system by complying with the
following steps:
- Clean the filters or change these if relevant. Increase the frequency of cleaning in the case of
premature clogging or reduction in the water flow. Circulate water in the opposite direction to
normal run-off so as to correctly eliminate the impurities which could obstruct the filter cone.
- Check the flexibility of the pipe.
- Check the level indicator caps while ensuring the mobility of the float arm. Replace the level
indicator caps if they are clogged.
CLEANING OF THE BATTERY
It is indispensable to clean the battery to avoid salt
forming, and also the derivations of the current
which could cause damage to the machine.
Clean the elements with clear water without
removing the caps.
Water can accumulate at the bottom of the tray, and
can cause short-circuits if the level rises too much. It
is essential to check and possibly drain off this
water.
WARNING
