Responding to Problems

Abnormal noise/

Engine mounting bolts are loosen. Inspect and tighten the bolts securely .

machine.
Engine oil is
consumed quickly.
Engine oil is leaking. Inspect and repair the problem.
The engine
overheats.
Lack of engine oil. Add engine oil. (Refer to p. 53 to 55.)
The intake screen or cooling fi n is
clogged.
Clean the intake screen/cooling fin. (Refer to the
“User’s Manual of Engine.”)
Fuel is consumed
quickly.
Fuel is leaking from the fuel
system.
Inspect and repair the problem.

The air cleaner is clogged.
Clean or replace the air cleaner.

A lot of black smoke

The choke is not fully open.

Poor compression
Inspect and repair the problem.

Too much engine oil quantity
Inspect and adjust the oil level. (Refer to p. 53 to

Electrical parts
LED light doesn’t
turn on
The LED lamp breaks down. Replace the LED light.
The battery is dead.
Charge the battery.
Replace the battery.
The battery cables are disconnected. Connect the battery cables.
The fuse has blown. Replace the fuse. (Refer to p. 90.)
Poorly-contacting or disconnected
electrical wiring (connector).
Repair the problem.

While the engine
is stopped, the oil
warning lamp does
not turn on when
the engine switch
is turned to the
“On” position.
The oil warning lamp is defective. Replace the oil warning lamp.
The battery is dead.
Charge the battery.
Replace the battery.
The battery cables are disconnected. Connect the battery cables.
Blown fuse Replace the fuse. (Refer to p. 90.)
Poorly-contacting or disconnected

Transmission
Even apply the HST
pedal / lever, the
machine doesn’t
move.
The hose of oil line is damaged. Replace the hose.

The parking brake is applied. Release the parking brake. (Refer to p. 22.)
Water is mixed in the HST oil.
Replace the HST oil.
