How to Work

■

Replacing the Cutting-blade V-belt

1. Open the engine cover (refer to p.24 and 25 of

this manual) and remove the cutting-blade belt
cover.

2. Check if the cutting-blade belt is damaged.

3. If the belt is damaged, remove the HST fan cover

and take out each belt stopper, and replace the
V-belt with the new one.

4. Adjust the tension of the cutting-blade V-belt.

(Refer to p.66 of this manual)

5. Adjust the cutting-height adjustment lever to

the position of “35 mm” cutting height.

6. Shift the cutting-blade clutch lever to the “On”

position and adjust the position of the belt
stoppers until the gap between each belt stop-
per and the pulley or V-belt become 2 to 3 mm.

Check if the cutting-blade V-belt is damaged. If it has cracks or worn, replace it

with a new part according to the procedure below.
