4. Start the engine and tilt the throttle lever to-
ward the “ “ to raise the engine speed up
to the maximum. (Refer to p.30 to 32 of this
manual)
5. Adjust the cutting height to “125 mm”.
6. Shift the cutting-blade clutch lever to the “On”
position. It is possible to wash the inside of the
cutting-blade cover.
7. Keep supplying for approx. 3 minutes. Extend
the washing time according to how dirty the
interior of the cover is.
8. Shift the cutting-blade clutch lever to the “Off”
position, and return the cutting-height
adjustment lever to the “Start Engine”
position. Then, shift the throttle lever to “ “,
and stop the engine.
9. Stop supplying the water and disconnect the
water hose from the cutting-blade washing
pipe.
10. If the cutting-blade cover is still dirty, clean it
by using more water.

After washing the cutting-blade cover, water still remains inside the
washing pipe. Remove the water hose and run the cutting blade at high
speed. It blows away moisture out of the washing pipe, which helps to ex-
tend the service life of the machine.
