The system can display the calling name and number, or it can display the called name with calling number. It
cannot display the calling and called names together.
This Zone enables or disables the ability to use named speed dial codes.
0 = Disable
1 = Enable
DID NAME/NUMBER DISPLAY OPTIONS
With the programming as below, the system will display the
calling name
.
=1 and named speed dials are entered into
, the display will show the calling name if a match is
found with the CLI number from the carrier.
Eg:
A call is placed from 0398372301 to 0298771234
code xxx = 0398372301 / Ralph Robinson
has 234 (AV256) or 34 (AV38)
has a target extension number (14)
The incoming call will display the calling number (0398372301) and the calling name Ralph Robinson on
extension 14.
If the system is to display the
called name
in lieu of the calling name, the following programming is required
= a number greater than 0
