This Zone allows the programmer to set the station parameters as listed below:
Item 01: System PSW
System Programming protection by password access.
This allows or disallows the station to enter System Programming using the Programming Password.
0 = Cannot enter programming
1 = Can enter programming

Item 02:ICM Dial D
Disable Intercom Dialing.
This enables or disables the station from making intercom calls to other stations by dialing the station number.
The station can still make intercom calls by DSS key operation, or by Single Digit Dialing .
0 = Disable The station CAN make Intercom calls by dialing the required station number
1 = Enable The station CANNOT make Intercom calls by dialing the required station number
For Hotel/Motel working, it is recommended to set this Zone to 1.
ie.: disable Inter-room( Intercom) Dialing.

Item 03:Key Tone
Sometimes referred to as “Confidence Tone”.
This enables or disables a beep whenever a button is pressed on a Keyphone.
0 = Disable. No tone heard if a button is pressed. 1 = Enable. Tone will be heard if a button is pressed

Item 04:Volume UP
Rising ringing for stations on incoming calls.
Allows or disallows the following function. If an incoming call is not answered during the first ring signal, the
next ring signal will be at an increased volume. The volume will continue to increase with each ring signal,
until either the call is answered or the maximum volume is reached.
0 = Disable
1 = Enable

Item 05:ICM Tone
Busy Reminder Tone for Intercom calls.
This facility allows a Station to receive Busy Reminder Tone if it is engaged on an external call when another
station calls it via the Intercom.
0 = Disable

Item 06:TK Answer
Answering of any incoming call at the station.
This allows or disallows the station to answer any incoming call on any CO irrespective of the programming
set in
Eg.: An extension bell could be connected as an SLT and assigned to ring to all CO lines. All other stations are
not programmed to an incoming ring group (
). A station can answer any incoming call
announced by the bell if this Zone is set. This allows a quiet area where stations do not ring but can answer
incoming calls by simply going off hook.

This allows a station to monitor (listen in) on a lower level station. The levels are the same as those set in
