15 Operation on a POTS Access

ARGUS 145

PLUS

The various menus available for the
selected type of access will be shown in
the main menu.

The ARGUS will open the
marked menu (in this example,
Single tests).

Select a menu. The selected
menu will be marked blue in the
display.

To return to the previous menu
(in the example, the State
display).



The ARGUS displays the voltage on the
line when it is "on hook“ (not busy).



Positive voltage: when the polarity is a+
and b-



(a = red wire, b = black wire) Negative
voltage: when the polarity is a- and b+
