11 IP Tests

ARGUS 145

 PLUS

Start an FTP download (in this example, ADSL access in access mode ATU-R)

Setup the xDSL or Ethernet connection.

The profile shown on the display will be 
used for the FTP download (in this 
example, Profile 1).

The ARGUS will open the Main menu.



If no connection has been setup (by 
pressing 

<Start>

 in the State display), a 

connection will be setup automatically at 
this point using the default profile (see 
page 53).

Depending on the protocol and access: 
The ARGUS will display the user name 
saved in the profile for the PPP 
connection. The user name can, however, 
be changed. 




If you change the user name, you must 
enter the password again

 

<Edit>

To edit the preset profile (in this 
example, Profile 1).

The access parameters are 
disabled. The other parameters 
can be edited here.

If the user name is changed 
here, it will only be placed in 
temporary storage; the profile 
itself is not modified.

The password entered here is not 
saved in the profile.
