9.9 Secure the SDF filter bags in place with the hooks located on the front part of Clamp Bar C.
Hooking the bags in place will put a physical hole in the front of each SDF bag.
10. Add samples to the IDF bags.
To add samples to the IDF bags, follow the steps below.
10.1 Open the top of the IDF bag and transfer the sample from a weigh tin into the IDF bag by folding the tin and then
dipping it down into the bag below the tip of the Delivery Nozzle.
When adding samples to the filter bags it is very important to keep it below the tip
of the Delivery Nozzle so that it can be properly rinsed.
10.2 Rinse the tin with no more than 3 ml of Distilled Water to ensure complete transfer.
10.3 Repeat steps 10.1 – 10.2 for all IDF stations.
10.4 Re-install Clamp Bar A.
11. Perform the IDF/SDF procedure using the ANKOM
TDF
Dietary Fiber Analyzer.

To perform the IDF/SDF procedure, follow the steps below.
11.1 When your instrument is fully initialized and ready to operate, the following screen will be displayed.
