Modem-to-SL16 DCE-to-DTE

Figure A-5 shows the cable used to connect a modem to an SL16.

Modem-to-Telephone Cables

The modem-to-telephone cables have RJ11 connectors on each end
wired pin to pin. You use the same cables to connect a telephone to
the outlet installed by your telephone company. If not included with
your modem, you can purchase these cables at the many retailers that
sell telephones. You can choose from several available lengths.

SL16-Out-to-SL16-In Cascade Cables

These cables use RJ45 connectors wired pin to pin. A cable, Andrew
part number 351-8234-01, is provided for this purpose.
