Floppy disk labeled SmartLine Management Software. As a
precaution, you should make a backup copy prior to
installation.

Windows 3.1 (or later) on an 80386/33 megahertz (or
better) PC with a 1.44 megabyte floppy drive, one megabyte
free on a hard drive, a free COMM port, and VGA color. A
mouse is recommended.
•
For remote operation, RS-232C modems at both your PC
and the remote location(s).
At this point, you should also fill out and mail in the registration card
included with these products. This places you on Andrew’s mailing
list for future upgrades.
5.2 Software Installation
1. Start Windows.
2. Insert the floppy diskette labeled SmartLine Management
Software (or your backup copy) into your floppy drive.
3. From the Windows Program Manager File menu, choose Run.
4. In the Run dialog box, type n:SETUP (where n: is the floppy
drive containing the SmartLine Management Software diskette).
Then click on the OK button. An Initializing message appears
briefly.
5. When using Windows 95, select Start, Settings, Control Panel.
Then click on the Add/Rename Programs icon. In the next
window, click on Install, and follow the prompts.
6. The SmartLine 16/8122 Setup window suggests c:\MANAGER
as an installation directory, which you can override with your
own choice. You can also Exit Setup or Continue at this point.
