Fit the regulator to the CO2 low check gas bottle (see above, right).

Carefully open the regulator valve and allow the CO2 low check gas to flow across the sensor.
Do not block the exit of the flow adaptor.

Ensure that the Ax60+ display reading is between 400ppm and 550ppm

Close the regulator valve, acknowledge the alarm and ventilate the area.

Repeat the procedure using the CO2 high check gas bottle to check the display reading shows

The Ax60+ CO

Sensor(s) can be recalibrated to ensure they accurately measure carbon dioxide at the specified levels.

Sensors is a similar task to checking but it also requires software input.
Calibration adjustment is a two-
point process: a ‘zero calibration adjustment’ and a ‘span calibration adjustment’.
NOTE:
ZERO CALIBRATION ADJUSTMENT MUST BE PERFORMED BEFORE SPAN CALIBRATION
ADJUSTMENT.

NOTE:
THE SENSOR THAT IS BEING CALIBRATED IS AUTOMATICALLY DISABLED DURING
CALIBRATION. THE OTHER SENSORS CONTINUE TO OPERATE.
NOTE:
CALIBRATION MODE AUTOMATICALLY TIMES OUT AFTER TEN MINUTES.
To zero calibrate a CO
2
Sensor, follow the procedure below (in both text and menu map):
1]
Ensure the Ax60+ is powered on and operating normally.

Press and hold Cycle for 6 seconds to display Top-level Menu.
3]
Press Cycle four times to display Calibration. Press Accept/Test to display Zero cal.
4]
Press Accept/Test to show the Select sensor screen, press Cycle to select the Sensor you want
to calibrate.

Press Accept/Test to select the Sensor. The Zero level (#) screen displays.
6]
Fit the neoprene tubing (1817-5000) to the flow adaptor (8000-
0910A).
