Maintenance
1.
Verify two drive rivets are in place securing vertical suspension tube to
carriage shaft and that rivets are flush with tube surface.
2.
Verify four drive rivets are in place securing adaptor to vertical suspension
tube and that pins are flush with adaptor surface.
3.
Verify that two roll pins are in place securing suspension arm/lighthead
assembly to adaptor and that roll pins are inserted deeper than adaptor
surface.
4.
Move carriage back and forth on track several times and check that carriage
moves freely without rubbing or excessive looseness.
5.
Turn light fixture ON and repeat step 4 to verify that electrical contact is
constant.
NOTE:
Some side movement is to be expected when lighthead position is
changed from one side of track to the opposite side. If movement is not smooth
or electrical contact is not constant, contact a STERIS service representative to
check the trolley duct.
6.
Rotate suspension arm/lighthead assembly 360 degrees and verify that
vertical suspension tube/carriage shaft assembly rotates smoothly within
carriage with no loss of electrical contact.
7.
Turn light fixture OFF.

Single and Dual Ceiling Mount Units
as follows:
1.
Loosen three screws in collar holding canopy in place, then allow collar and
canopy to slide down suspension tube.
2.
Verify the four bolts securing ceiling mounting plate are tight.
3.
Check that suspension pin is in place (through the vertical suspension tube
on top of ceiling flange) and that the four Allen-head screws in side of ceiling
flange are tight.
4.
Slide collar and canopy back up vertical suspension tube until canopy is firmly
seated against ceiling, then retighten three screws loosened in step 1.
5.
Check that the two locating pins in the extension arm adaptor are in place
and that the eight Allen-head screws securing adaptor to suspension tube
are tight.
