Operator Manual

Operating Instructions

NOTE:

The Gemini lighting fixture uses a dual filament lamp. The dual filament

lamp contains two filaments within the same glass envelope. One filament is for
large pattern; second filament is for small pattern (see Figure 3).

1. Press LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH intensity touchswitch to power the lamp.

NOTE:

For longer lamp life, use higher intensity levels only when needed.

2. Press SMALL or LARGE touchswitch to change to desired pattern size.

NOTE:

The green

Electronics Power Indicator

shows power is available to the

electronics to operate the lamp and its intensity and pattern selection capabili-
ties. The

Filament Failure Indicator

shows that one of the filaments of the dual

filament lamp has failed. In case of filament failure, the electronics will
automatically switch power to the remaining good filament.

The following movements can be made by using either removable (sterile)
handle on lighthead or nonsterile handle located below Touch Control Panel on
reflector outer cover.
