2.9.7 Machine operation in dusty environment
While operating in a very dusty environment, shorten
cleaning and replacement intervals of air filter cartridges
and shorten cleaning intervals of coolers.
The recommended cleaning interval is once a week.
2.9.8 Driving with vibration on compacted
and hard materials
When the machine works with vibration on hard materials
(e.g. loose stony materials) or materials with a high degree of
compaction, the drum can lose its contact with the compacted
material (so-called vibro stroke). Due to this condition, the
transfer of vibrations to the machine frame and to the driver’s
stand increases. It can be partly removed by increasing the
travel speed or by changing the vibration parameters of the
machine (using a smaller amplitude).
If it is necessary to work with the machine in conditions when
the operator can be exposed to higher vibrations, the machine
user must modify working procedures to protect the driver's
health.
Note
When driving with vibration on a different background material
than specified in the Specification manual, the emission values
of the vibration acceleration will be different – Noise and
vibration emissions.
