3.2.2 Fuel

Diesel oil is used as fuel for the engine:

• EN590
• ASTM D975: 1D S15, 2D S15

Note
Do not use fuels with a sulphur content exceeding 1%

(10000 ppm).
Use fuels with a sulphur content 0.1% (1000 ppm).
When a fuel with a sulphur content exceeding 0.5–1%

(5000–10000 ppm) is used, shorten the engine oil replacement

interval.

At ambient temperatures below 0 °C (32 °F), use winter

diesel fuel.
Mixing diesel with special additives is forbidden.
