How to Perform Zone Re g istration
To operate the system controller properly, zone registration is req u ired after
finishing the test r u n (and after setting all indoor u nit addresses) u sing one of
the following methods.
(a) Zone registration u sing the remote controller (RCIRK-FL)

(c) A u tomatic zone registration u sing the system controller (NRSC-FL)

For methods (a) and (b), yo u sho u ld make a zone registration table man u ally
before performing the registration. Use the form on page III-56 for this.
For method (c), zone registration is exec u ted a u tomatically, proceeding from
small indoor u nit addresses and small central addresses to larger n u mbers in
n u merical order. For example:

1. An indoor u nit address is assigned to each indoor u nit d u ring a u tomatic
address operation. Each indoor u nit address combines an R.C. address
and indoor u nit n u mber as follows:

Refrigerant circ u it No. (R.C. address)
This address is displayed on remote controller for UNIT No. when the UNIT

u tton is pressed.
2. The central address represents the zone and gro u p n u mber. These
addressed are assigned in ascending n u merical order.
